Tell us your basic Bio in a few sentence?
I am an ex-couch potato, so called “foodie”, dessertarian who needed a major jump start for my life after not being able to carry both my beautiful girls to bed.
What is your athletic background?
I played a variety of sports as a youth but when it started to become more work than fun, I decided having a good tme was more important than a future in athletics.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
February 15, 2012 was my start date.
What is your favorite thing about CrossFit?
I love the “push”. Either its’s myself, the clock, the coaches, or my WODing companions there is always something to push you to do one more repo or go one more round and when one falls short at that time, the “push” comes from another source.
What is your favorite thing about CrossFit Liberation?
Being around like minded people who share your pain and struggles while giving you the support to be successful is my favorite thing about CFL.
Why do you choose CFL as your training facility?
Intitially because the facility is 5 minutes from my house and has the best schedule for my current life situation. now its because I kind of like them…
Do you consider yourself an athlete? Why?
In no way, shape, or form do I consider myself an athlete. I’m just a random guy who found a needle in a haystack and just dow what I do.
Favorite benchmark/CFL WOD?
My favorite was “Atom’s B-Day” WOD. It took me a long time to finish and was the first time I wanted to quit. That day really showed me something about the “push”.
Favorite/most hated CrossFit movements?
I really don’t like any movement when the weight goes from the ground to a squat.
What is your Short term goal/Long term CrossFit goals?
My short term goal is to participate in a CrossFit challenge or a run event (Warrior Dash, Tough Mudder, etc.) and long term is to keep CrossFit in my life so I can pass the desire for a healthy lifestyle to my girls.

What is your favorite Musician/band to listen to while doing the WODs?
On occassion I like the 90’s dance genre because you have to laugh sometimes when feeling the burn.
What is your choice of CrossFit Shoe?
Merrill minimal trail glove…It is my first pair of CrossFit shoes and still holding.
